Ghostbusters has a large and dedicated group of fans, and they’re all going to be shocked when they hear what is slated to happen in the third film in the series, according to Sigourney Weaver.
The actress, who originally stated that she would not be having a role in the third film, retracted her previous statement on Friday and said that she “might be in it,” though she wouldn’t have a big role.
She then let slip the biggest spoiler for the film yet — “I think Bill Murray” will have something more to do with it,” she told Ain’t It Cool News. “He’s a ghost.”
However, the last news we heard from Murray about his participation was that he didn’t even believe it would come to fruition. Back in October, be told Absolute Radio that “”I’ll believe it when I see it…it’s just a wish list for someone, but until there’s a really good script, I’ll stay home. It’s got to be really good, I’m not going to make one just to make another one.”
