Men In Black III has begun casting talks and one possibly addition is causing a buzz on the net.
The L.A. Times and Ain't It Cool News reports that Josh Brolin (No Country For Old Men, W., and the upcoming Jonah Hex) might fight aliens along side Will Smith in the hit sci-comedy franchise. No word has been given on the specifics of Brolin's role yet, but if the picture is greenlit, he could be the latest agent to partner up with Smith's Agent J by feeling in the shoes left by Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K.
Barry Sonnefield is slated as director tentatively and Etan Cohen (not to be confused with filmmaker Ethan Coen) will write the script. Cohen co-wrote Tropic Thunder with Ben Stiller and Justin Theroux and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, with Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath. The film should shoot in parts of New York City in 2010 if everything goes to plan.
Brolin is pretty busy with other projects in his pipeline, such as Oliver Stone's Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps (which I am DYING to see) and the aforementioned Jonah Hex. I glad the man is working hard, but he will forever be known as "Brand" Walsh from my all time favorite movie, The Goonies, despite giving a killer George W. Bush in the underrated film, W.
So are you guys ready for another MIB movie? Sound off below...
