Tonight has not really been a night of surprises, and this continues that trend. Jeff Bridges won the award for Best Actor for his performance in Crazy Heart, as I predicted he would. I think Bridges deserves the award, especially after his co-stars praises of him during the call-out section for the nominees.
Bridges is truly a fantastic actor, and though I haven't seen Crazy Heart, I'm glad he's finally won the Best Actor Oscar, which he totally deserves.
Bridges was as congenial as ever during his speech, though it wasn't quite as memorable as his speech at the Golden Globes, when he won the corresponding award for acting there as well.
Only three awards are left in the ceremony, but this is where the predictability ends.
